I look at the stars, and I see her...
This is a most difficult entry for me. This is Ted, Kristin's love.

I am sorry I have to deliver the news to you that the headache Kristin referred to in her last post was an Aneurism at the base of her brain stem.

It was a severe bleed. Kristin fell into a deep coma in my arms and her brain shut off, not to start up again. The doctors did everything they could for her at Harborview to try and bring down the swelling but our gorgeous and amazing Kristin was gone.

I am sorry friends. Words cannot describe the pain I am feeling, Kristin was my life, my future and my other half.

ted, i'm so sorry. i can't believe that she's gone. kristin has been going through my head all day since i heard the news. she was such a beautiful person, and it's so ironic to me that someone so incredibly full of life had to pass away. there is just a kristin shaped hole in the universe, it doesn't feel right that she's not here.

at holy names, she was friendly to literally everyone. i remember riding the bus with her in the mornings, her checkered converse and red framed glasses, sharing headphones on a portable tape deck. sitting in on b.a.d. (bad ass dames) practices at lunch in the choir room while she sang "we are catholic schoolgirls...and we have more fun!" i had such a great time at new years this year too. i'm glad i got to meet you then, ted, and to be with kristin one last time (i have been at school in ohio since then). we were just starting to reconnect. she seemed to be enjoying creative writing a lot, and really searching herself in her political beliefs.

i am so sorry you have to go through this... we all love kristin, but you were her love, and although i'm in shock and in pain, i can't imagine how hard this must be for you. my heart goes out to you, and her family, and all of the many many people this wonderful girl has touched in her life.

this is kristen from the new year's party. it's okay if you don't remember me, I completely understand.
let me just say that I am completely and wholeheartedly sorry about your loss. as noel said, we all feel a huge amount of grief, but yours must be on a whole different level. all we can do is remember kristin for who she was- an incredibly inspiring young woman with a heart of gold and an electric personality. she was truly beautiful, completely pure and lovely, and we will all miss her so very much.

also, remember: you are her love. not were, but are. she will continue to bless you with her graces from heaven- this much I am sure of.

When I heard about this I was shocked. I can't believe Kristin's gone. We were going to go to Ireland together. I will miss her so much. I loved that woman and nothing will be the same without her presence in the world.

I can't even begin to imagine how you're feeling. I wish you the best. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please post what is happening with services for Kristin. Thank you for the telling us what happened and once again I'm very sorry for your loss.

Thank you everyone.

I cant put to words the loss I feel. Its impossible to describe loosing yourself, your dreams and your hope in your arms.

I'm terribly sorry we all have to experience this. There can never be another person like Kristin, cherish your memory of her.

I will keep her LJ updated with whats going on until I see whomever can at her funeral.

Thank you so much for posting that entry. I'm glad that her livejournal didn't just end without some sort of closure. We don't know each other, but I am so so sorry--I was a friend of Kristen's her first year at Seattle U but I transferred to another school. She made me feel welcome, made me waffles in the collegium, let me be in her little 60s music cover band that she formed for the Seattle U battle of the bands (we came in ninth out of ten, but we had a lot of fun.)
She was a really amazing person whom I regret not keeping in touch with. All my best goes to you and everyone else who is in so much pain from this tragedy.
